On April 3, 2025, the Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee of the Central South University National Graduate College For Elite Engineers was held in Conference Room 416, Science and Education Building. Members of the college Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee attending the meeting included Xu Kaihua, Chairman of GEM Co., Ltd.; Yao Hong, Chairman of Hangzhou Kaida Catalytic Metal Materials Co., Ltd.; He Faquan, Chief Scientist of China Energy Investment Group; Wan Ye, General Manager of Luoyang China Silicon High-Tech Co., Ltd.; Li Fanqun, General Manager of Wanxiang 123 Co., Ltd.; Deng Ziwei, General Manager of China Electronics Industrial Internet Co., Ltd.; Liu Hongfei, Chairman of Optosky (Xiamen) Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.; Professor Xu Degang, Vice Dean of the School of Automation; Professors Luo Biao, Zhou Can, Guo Huajun, Chen Yongming, Tong Hui, and Du Ke—a total of 14 on-campus and off-campus experts. Vice Deans Chen Ailiang and Liu Fangyang of the college attended as non-voting participants. The meeting was chaired by Xu Degang, Vice Chairman of the Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee.
The meeting reviewed and approved documents and related content including the Charter of the Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee of the Central South University National Graduate College For Elite Engineers, the Administrative Measures for the Review of Graduate Degree Theses and Degree Practice Achievements of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers (Trial), the Academic Requirements for 2025 Master's Student Enrollment Adjustment of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers, and the qualifications of on-campus supervisors of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers.
The successful convening of this Degree Evaluation Sub-Committee meeting is of milestone significance to the college's construction and development. The Sub-Committee will strictly control the quality of degree conferral, focus on building an evaluation standard system with engineering education characteristics, and provide institutional guarantees for cultivating outstanding engineers in the new era.
