College Faculty and Student Representatives Visit Sany Silicon Energy (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. for Exchange

To actively respond to the high-quality development strategy of new industrialization, deepen the outstanding engineer talent cultivation system, and guide students to bravely undertake the mission of Chinese modernization construction, on the afternoon of April 28, the college organized faculty and student representatives to visit Sany Silicon Energy (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. for field study and exchange. Over 30 participants attended the event, including Vice Dean Chen Ailiang of the college and master's and doctoral student representatives. Chen Jia, Deputy General Manager of Sany Silicon Energy Technology Co.; Xia Yimin, Executive Deputy General Manager of Sany Silicon Energy Equipment Co.; Shen Shaoshuai and Zhou Gang, Vice Deans of Sany Silicon Energy Microgrid Research Institute, and other enterprise leaders warmly received and accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.

At the beginning of the visit, under the guidance of Deputy General Manager Xia Yimin, the faculty and students entered the Sany Silicon Energy park exhibition hall. Here, General Manager Xia systematically introduced the development trajectory, corporate vision and mission, and industrial strategic layout of Sany Group with detailed enterprise data and vivid R&D cases, giving faculty and students a comprehensive understanding of this industry-leading enterprise's overall profile.

Subsequently, Deputy General Manager Chen Jia led the faculty and students to visit the fully intelligent battery factory of Sany Silicon Energy. Inside the factory, the highly automated production lines and advanced manufacturing processes were impressive. General Manager Chen provided accessible yet profound explanations around core content such as the micro light-storage all-in-one series photovoltaic products and the 5GW battery production line, from technical principles to practical applications. Through close observation and study, students not only gained intuitive understanding of new energy industry development trends but also deeply comprehended the innovative application of intelligent manufacturing key technologies in actual production, which has important reference significance for them in clarifying future career directions and for the college in optimizing talent cultivation programs.

It is reported that Sany Silicon Energy is deeply engaged in the entire photovoltaic industry chain, covering independent R&D and production of crystal pulling, wafer slicing, cells, modules, and photovoltaic power stations. The company has achieved remarkable results in centralized photovoltaic power stations, distributed industrial and commercial power stations, and residential rooftop photovoltaics, possessing rich GW-level power station development and construction experience. Particularly in cutting-edge application scenarios such as green manufacturing, green parks, green mining, and green transportation, Sany Silicon Energy demonstrates strong innovative capabilities and industry leadership.

This visit and study built a bridge for deep university-enterprise exchange, enabling faculty and students to directly experience real enterprise production scenarios and accurately grasp the competency requirements for engineering technical talent. It provided valuable reference for the college's continuous enhancement of students' engineering practice capabilities and innovative literacy, as well as the improvement of the talent cultivation system.
