To scientifically formulate the development blueprint of Central South University for the "15th Five-Year Plan" and solidly promote the compilation of the college's plan, on the afternoon of November 25, Huang Jianling, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, led a team to the National Graduate College for Elite Engineers to carry out a special investigation on the "15th Five-Year Plan". The meeting was held at the Xiaoxiang Campus. Qinghua Tian, Member of the University Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, presided over the meeting.

 At the research meeting, Ailiang Chen, Vice Dean of the National Graduate College for Elite Engineers, made a special report, systematically expounding the current development situation of the college, the opportunities and challenges faced during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the basic considerations for development and relevant suggestions on needs. The participants conducted in-depth discussions around promoting the high-quality development of the college, focusing on key issues related to the cultivation of elite engineers, such as the construction of national-level courses, the innovation of the college's system and mechanism, the joint appointment of high-level talents by universities and enterprises, the cultivation and transformation of high-quality patents, the expansion of government-university-enterprise cooperation resources, and the construction of overseas elite engineer colleges, and put forward a series of constructive opinions.

 Qiongwen Cheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, delivered a statement. He first thanked the university for its great attention and support to the development of the college, and expressed his hope that the university would provide support in the introduction of high-level talents and resource allocation in the reform of university-college two-level management. The Party Committee of the college will further strengthen ideological guidance and organizational guarantee, consolidate consensus on development, and ensure that the planning goals are implemented in place.

 Jianling Huang, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by the college since its establishment. He emphasized that the college should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China; should actively respond to and integrate into the university-college two-level management reform of the university to further stimulate the vitality of the college's school-running; should strengthen scientific demonstration and complete the compilation and revision of the "15th Five-Year Plan" with high quality.

 This special investigation has pointed out the direction for the compilation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" of the National Graduate College for Elite Engineers. The college will fully absorb the opinions from the meeting discussions, improve the planning content, focus on key links and key tasks, and effectively transform the planning blueprint into specific actions to promote the improvement of talent training capacity.
