College Launches and Deploys Education on Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation

On the afternoon of March 20, the College held an expanded Party Committee meeting in Conference Room 208, Jingui Building, to launch and deploy the education on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation. The meeting was attended by all members of the College Party Committee, department heads, office directors, full-time organization staff, and secretaries of all Party branches.

The meeting conveyed and studied the important speeches and instructions by Xi Jinping on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, the spirit of the meeting of the Central Party Building Leading Group, as well as the spirit of the Circular on Launching Education on Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation Across the Party issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the relevant requirements of the University Party Committee. The meeting reviewed and adopted the Implementation Plan of the College Party Committee on Launching Education on Thoroughly Implementing the Spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation Across the College, and arranged key tasks.

The meeting emphasized the need to accurately grasp the objectives and requirements of the education, and to coordinate and advance study and discussion, problem investigation, targeted rectification, and open education to ensure high-quality learning, rigorous investigation, and effective rectification.

First, raise political standing and strengthen ideological, political, and operational awareness in carrying out the education, closely integrating it with the comprehensive reform of the university and the college.

Second, adhere to a problem-oriented approach, benchmark against relevant standards, carefully investigate existing problems based on actual conditions, and strengthen warning education.

Third, consolidate primary-level responsibilities, fully enhance the sense of responsibility of Party members and cadres, and steadily advance targeted rectification.

Fourth, take strict and practical measures to ensure tangible results, deliver on key tasks, and translate the outcomes of the education into concrete actions to serve teachers and students and promote development.

The meeting required that the colleges special working group strengthen overall planning, and that all working groups and Party branch secretaries ensure detailed and effective implementation of specific tasks. With a high level of political awareness, the responsibility chain must be firmly pressed to ensure the education is conducted in a thorough, in-depth, and practical manner.
