On the morning of May 8, 2025, Li Dachao, Executive Dean of the Tianjin University National Graduate College For Elite Engineers, and Wang Chunling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the Binhai Industrial Research Institute, visited the college. Both parties conducted special exchanges on the construction of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers. Chen Ailiang, Vice Dean of the college; Zhu Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; and Liu Fangyang, Vice Dean, attended the symposium. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Chen Ailiang.

At the symposium, Vice Dean Chen Ailiang first extended a warm welcome to Dean Li Dachao and his delegation. Vice Dean Liu Fangyang introduced in detail the college's phased achievements in basic construction from aspects including educational positioning, faculty team construction, talent cultivation models, and industry-education integration mechanisms. Dean Li Dachao focused on the progress of the physical construction of the Tianjin University National Graduate College For Elite Engineers and the challenges it faces. Vice Dean Chen Ailiang shared the college's innovative practical experience around characteristic work such as pilot incubation platform construction, innovation in university-enterprise collaborative education models, and overseas talent cultivation. Deputy Secretary Zhu Zhongping introduced the college's specific measures in student status management and cultivation process management.

At the meeting, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the construction of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers, covering topics including university-enterprise joint curriculum design, dual supervisor appointment mechanisms, student cultivation process management, engineer technology center construction, and overseas National Graduate College For Elite Engineers construction.

This exchange laid the foundation for collaborative innovation between the two universities in the field of outstanding engineer cultivation. Both parties will deeply advance resource sharing and mutual learning of experience, jointly explore new paradigms for cultivating outstanding engineering talent with Chinese characteristics and world-class standards, and contribute to elevating the construction of the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers to new heights.
