To comprehensively advance the high-quality construction and development of our university's National Graduate College For Elite Engineers, from May 21 to 23, 2025, Vice Dean Chen Ailiang of the college led a delegation to conduct special research visits to the National Graduate College For Elite Engineers at four universities: Beijing Institute of Technology, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Beihang University, and University of Science and Technology Beijing. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on core topics including talent cultivation models, university-enterprise collaboration mechanisms, and internationalization construction.

Beijing Institute of Technology's integration of advantageous resources to build an outstanding talent supply chain, China University of Petroleum (Beijing)'s deepening of science-education/industry-education integration to serve the national energy strategy, Beihang University's leadership in engineering education reform through "five strengthenings," and University of Science and Technology Beijing's focus on breaking disciplinary barriers through interdisciplinary integration and cultivating new opportunities through internationalization, all provided valuable experience and intellectual inspiration for our college's construction and development.

This special research visit marks a solid step for the college in deepening engineering education reform and serving major national strategic needs, while also injecting powerful momentum into the exploration and construction of an independent outstanding engineer cultivation system with Chinese characteristics and world-class standards.
