On October 15, the College's Engineering Case Development Experience Sharing and AI Excellence Smart Teaching Innovation Center Construction Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Conference Room 503, 5th Floor, Science and Education North Building, Yuelu Mountain Campus. Professor Jiexi Wang, Professor Jiangtao Li, Wen Liu, Head of the Wisdom Tree Department, course leaders from the college, and supervisor representatives attended the meeting in person. Representatives from Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., Hunan University of Technology, Lanzhou University of Technology, and Jiangxi University of Science and Technology participated online. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Ailiang Chen of the college.

At the meeting, Vice Dean Ailiang Chen chaired the meeting and delivered remarks. She emphasized the importance of engineering case development for the cultivation of outstanding engineers, and conducted an item-by-item, in-depth interpretation and analysis focusing on the engineering case collection requirements issued by the Ministry of Education. She elaborated in detail on the basic positioning that cases must "closely align with the talent cultivation requirements for engineering master's and doctoral students and closely align with core courses in key fields," and highlighted the construction principles of "cultivating talent with moral integrity, integrating industry and education, and interdisciplinary integration," providing guidance for attending faculty to accurately grasp the application policies.

During the experience sharing session, Professor Wang Jiexi and Professor Jiangtao Li spoke based on their own practices. Professor Jiexi Wang, who has successfully applied for engineering case projects, combined abstract regulations with specific cases to deliver a vivid sharing. He pointed out that for most research-oriented faculty, transforming research achievements into "teaching instruction manuals" that conform to pedagogical principles is the main challenge. He shared practical insights on how case topics can reflect "cutting-edge nature, interdisciplinary nature, typicality, and inspirational quality," as well as practical experience in case writing.

Professor Jiangtao Li, using Academician Zhongwei Zhao's achievements in winning the National Science and Technology Progress Award and Invention Award as a case study, provided an in-depth analysis of application key points and common pitfalls. He emphasized that topics must precisely align with national key fields such as "new materials," and recommended integrating values of moral education and talent cultivation and interdisciplinary elements into cases. He also suggested using multimedia tools and project-based teaching methods to promote integrated mastery of knowledge, while providing specific strategies for the promotion and application of cases and the writing of interdisciplinary teaching instructions.

Huan Chen, Gold Course Consultant at Wisdom Tree, delivered a special report on the construction progress of the "AI Excellence Smart Teaching Innovation Center." Currently, Wisdom Tree has meticulously crafted an "AI Excellence Smart Teaching Innovation Center" college portal for our college, integrating and displaying the college's featured portal, knowledge system, science/industry-education integration, professional knowledge fusion analysis, engineering course cluster construction, and excellence lectures, achieving integrated presentation. In terms of knowledge system construction, the project has conducted structural organization of the knowledge system for each program, achieving visual display of autonomous knowledge systems; simultaneously, teaching resources are structurally mounted to form knowledge graphs. Furthermore, leveraging AI technology to capture dynamic demands of student employment industries and positions in real time, combined with the university's talent cultivation plan, a smart course dynamic competency mapping system has been constructed. The report also highlighted the latest achievements in facilitating the digital transformation of teaching and promoting the construction of smart teaching environments, with on-site demonstrations of relevant platform functions, fully reflecting the innovative practice of deep integration between information technology and education and teaching.

During the discussion and exchange session, Xiaowei Wang, a member of the course construction team, raised specific questions regarding the case for the course "New Energy Smart Factory Design." Associate Professor Fan Guo, drawing from her own research direction, exchanged views on how "Medical Image Processing and Intelligent Diagnosis Technology" can effectively stimulate enterprises' sustained motivation to participate in course construction. Attending faculty conducted in-depth discussions on deepening the industry-education integration mechanism.
This symposium was substantive and highly targeted. Through in-depth policy interpretation and valuable practical experience sharing, it pointed the direction for the college's subsequent precise advancement of engineering case database construction and deepening of industry-education integration mechanisms. The college will take this as an opportunity to continuously strengthen teaching resource construction and teaching model innovation, transforming the meeting's outcomes into new momentum for outstanding engineer cultivation.
